Hi, I’m Allison Jones. I’m a qualified travel agent based in Daylesford, Victoria. Originally from the UK, I've got decades of travel behind me, and I've written travel books for Lonely Planet, researching destinations in depth to understand not just what's worth seeing, but how to actually experience a place well.

That research background is a big part of how I work today. I love putting together thoughtful itineraries for people who want to see the world on their own terms, but don't want to spend weeks trawling websites, comparing hotels and working out which recommendations they can trust.

I particularly enjoy working with people who are well travelled and curious, but want someone knowledgeable in their corner. You might know exactly where you want to go but need help putting it all together, or you might just know you want three weeks somewhere interesting and leave the research to me.

I'm also a business owner and a reward travel specialist, so where points, status or loyalty programs can improve a trip, I'll look at those options too. I love turning everyday spending into a better flight, a hotel upgrade, or an experience that might otherwise cost considerably more.

My favourite place? Right here in Daylesford with my labrador, Benny. But when I'm not at home, you might find me in Sapporo, Stockholm or Seattle.
